This is the weekend to go out and enjoy the gorgeous fall foliage around Chattanooga. The weather will be sunny and cool (mid to high 50’s Saturday and low 60’s on Sunday), perfect for a stroll along the Guild Hardy Trail or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, check out the Bluff Trail which allows for 3-4 mile additions off the 5 mile trail. As we head into the heart of fall, there are still plenty of fall festivals, live music and movies. Here are your best bets for fun this weekend in Chattanooga.
Holiday Open House
It is that time of year. Time to start thinking about the holidays. Thanksgiving will be here in 3 weeks and Christmas is just a few days after that it seems. Kick off the Holiday Season “Vinterest” style! Featuring local vendor shops with handmade goods and housewares, as well as vintage items, you can find some unique gifts. Visit BOTH locations during our sale weekend to be entered into a Vinterest $500 gift card giveaway. With taste testing, giveaways, refreshments and door prized for the first 20 in line. Saturday and Sunday 9-5 pm Vinterest Southside and Vinterest Antiques, Hixson.
Beastly Feast
The Chattanooga Zoo is pretty special, in my opinion. It is just the right size, the animals are all interesting and the zoo has a lot of great programs and fundraisers. Tonight, you can learn all about the feeding habits of the animals at Beastly Feast. Learn why it is important for their species’ survival in the wild and admire the natural behaviors of animals with large appetites like Jaguars and Komodo dragons. While you watch and learn, you can sip on cocktails while you stroll around the zoo or have dinner at the Wild Burger. This is a family friendly event. 6-8 pm. Tickets at the gate. 301 N Holtzclaw Ave
The Fly Fishing Film Tour
With an emphasis on the people, places and fisheries that help make up the vast world of fly fishing, the 2019 F3T will take you from Alaska to Florida, South Dakota to French Polynesia, British Columbia to the coast of Australia and more. This remarkable evening of outdoor cinema is in itself an adventure you won’t soon forget. Held at The Camp House and hosted by the Appalachian Chapter of Trout Unlimited 137, all proceeds to native brook trout restoration and river clean up. Tickets are available at the door. 7-10 pm 149 E ML King Blvd. $20 GA, $50 VIP
Les Miserables
Members of our team have seen the travel company’s production of Les Miserables and the verdict is in…this is the best they have ever seen! Do yourself a favor and go check out the wonderful drama that is Les Mis! The Tivoli Theater is a magical place to see musicals and concerts, and this production is indeed worthy of the building. Tickets range $38-78 Shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Promising tricks, stunts, wisecracks and of course, magic, Grant Freeman is know for his funny and sometimes raunchy brand of magic. Two shows, 7 and 9 pm.
