Chattanooga Bike Party
Love cycling in the Scenic City, but have some issues riding in traffic? Join your fellow cyclists for a rolling Chattanooga bike party through downtown to raise awareness of the bike lanes and bike safety. Joining major cities such as Portland, Baltimore , San Francisco and Atlanta, the local bike community hopes to ride critical mass. Event starts at 7:30. Free. Meet at Chattanooga Choo Choo.
Raccoon Mountain Trail Day
Whether you are new to Chattanooga or have been here forever, if you ride mountain bikes, or just love nature, you know Raccoon Mountain is a true gift. This Saturday you can give back and help maintain that gift by joining TVA and SORBA Chattanooga for a celebration of Raccoon Mountain Trail Day. Help out by doing light trail maintenance in the morning and then join in a group ride after lunch. For trail maintenance, bring work gloves, wear closed-toed shoes, pants, long-sleeved shirt, and bring bug spray. Free. Feed the Endangered Red Wolves
Chattanooga is one of the only sanctuaries for red wolves in the country. With fewer than 100 left in the wild, they truly a rare site to behold. Saturday, you can view and fee the red wolves at the sanctuary at Reflection Riding. For a small fee, all of which goes to the care and preservation of the animals, you can learn more about these beautiful creatures and feed them. 11:45 Reflection Riding and Arboretum 400 Garden Road. $10 to attend, $5 to feed wolves. The Brewery Comedy Tour
What fun to enjoy a beer and watch some of the countries top traveling comedians? Sunday, you can hang out with just that! More than a dozen LA and NYC based comedians are touring the country sampling local beer, food and in exchange providing some of the finest comedy entertainment. Show starts at 7:30 on Sunday night. 120 King Street $12 per person. Tickets online.
