What is Going On This Weekend In Chattanooga

Christmas is over and now we all have homes full of family. All of us may be getting a little cabin fever and need a way to let off some energy/ entertain the troops. After all, this is the week where no one call tell heads or tails what day it is, and we all are in food comas. This weekend, you can find plenty of fun leading up to the New Year Eve parties on Monday. Here are your best bets.

    Beer!

The OddStory Brewery is celebrating it’s 2nd anniversary with a few days of partying. Friday, you can sample the barrel aged beers at the Barrel Aged Takeover. Five different distillers will be representing and there will be food from Edley’s Bar-B-Que and live music from The Reese and Rosser Band. Party starts at 5 with music kicking in at 7. Sounds like a great excuse to “take a drive” downtown! 336 OddStory Brewing Company.

    Black Jacket Symphony

We love the Black Jacket Symphony and the way they merge classic rock with classical. This Friday, you can enjoy the music of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers at the Tivoli from the critically acclaimed Black Jacket Symphony. Tickets are still available and the show starts at 8pm. 709 Broad Street.

    Sunday Jazz

Sunday seems to be the perfect day for jazz.  This Sunday, you can catch the monthly jazz jam session at Barking Legs Theater. Designed to give local jazz musicians a space to play with a first rate rhythm section, this is a fantastic way to enjoy free jazz and to get a glimpse of the talent of Chattanooga. Free 3-4 pm. Barking Legs Theater 1307 Dodds Ave.

After you have cleaned up the wrapping paper, put together the last puzzle and watched the last of the Christmas movies, we hope you move onto a fantastic 2019! Looking to make Chattanooga your home this year? Give us a call! We know all the fun things to do and where all the best houses are!

    Happy New Year!
