December is turning out to be a little soggy here in Chattanooga. With Christmas just 10 days away, most people are in the throes of holiday parties and the city is as festive as you can get. If you are not heading out to holiday parties, here are your best bets for some holiday weekend fun.
Charlie Brown Christmas
You know you just started humming the music… Saturday and Sunday, you can catch the live version of one of the most beloved Christmas programs of all time. Catch Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and the gang for a reminder of the true spirit of Christmas, performed by local Chattanooga thespians.
Shows are Saturday 2:30 and 4 and Sunday at 4. Tickets online. $10

National Wreath Day
Saturday the Patriot Guard Riders and Wreaths Across America are encouraging volunteers to lay wreaths at all of the 136 national cemeteries across the country . You can join other volunteers to lay wreaths at the Chattanooga National Cemetery beginning at 12 noon on Saturday. This is a wonderful way to honor our country’s fallen heroes and offers a very lovely reminder of what the holidays mean to those who have served. With over 46,000 graves, many dating back to pre-civil war, this is a very solemn and beautiful tradition for many people. 1200 Bailey Ave Chattanooga, TN 37404

Santa Pub Crawl
The 10th annual Santa Pub Crawl is this Saturday and will cover 6 local bars and restaurants. The kick- off is from 3-6 pm at Feed and Hi-Fi Clydes and then will proceed through downtown via buses from the Southside and Patten Parkway. Participating venues include Honest Pint, Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Bar, Chattanooga Billiard Club, Jefferson’s Hair of the Dog, Sing It or Wing It, Southside Social and Reagan’s Place. Dress up as the big guy himself or any other Christmas character/decor (my favorite costume thus far has been a girl dressed up as a snow globe) and head out to support the Salvation Army. This is a fun event to attend, or just causally walk by as the Christmas spirit is very contagious! You can bring a toy to drop off at the kick off locations. 3- closing time. 201 W. Main Street

Puppy Brunch With Santa
What is better than brunch? How about with dogs and Santa? Sunday, you can live the best of all worlds at Chattanooga Brewery. Sunday brunch specials, the Winter Warmer brew, Santa photos with your pup and 10% of all proceeds go to HES. Grab your friends and have a relaxing Sunday start. 12-3 pm 1804 Chestnut Street.

We hope you have a very merry, holiday weekend.
