Our team is full of mother’s including mother and daughter duo Diane and Carmen Patty. As mothers and women with mothers, we appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to be a parent, especially a working mother. Artsy Theater Mom
Have a mom that loves theater and art? Cirque Du-Soleil- Corteo might just the thing to share with her. Tickets are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows. This fantastic show features all of the spectacular visual excitement of all the other shows around the country. Tickets start at $42 with many still available and are available online. Garden Mom
If your mom is like many of our team members and has a green thumb, take her to the Barn Nursery on Sunday. With a huge Mother’s Day tree and shrub sale going on. Your mom can browse through acres of flowers, plants, trees, home decor items and more to find the perfect gift. The Barn Nursery is one of the happiest places in Chattanooga and you might get extra brownie points if you go home and help her plant. Open Sunday 10-6pm. 1801 East 24th Street.
Outdoor Mom
Is your mom (or are you) and outdoor gear head? You are in luck! This weekend you can take your mom to the new REI Store that opened today in East Brainerd. After you buy your mom a new pair of trail shoes, head out to Enterprise South, for a fun hike on any of the dozens of trails. REI: 2507 Lifestyle Way. Enterprise South 190 Still Hollow Loop (open daily 8-5pm).
Foodie Mom
Brunch is a great way to celebrate your mom. What is better than delicious food, beverages and being toasted by your beloved family? Not much in my book. Feed Co. Table and Tavern, The Flying Squirrel, The Bitter Alibi, The Daily Ration, Beast and Barrel, Bluewater Grill and Stir all have great brunches that we highly recommend. Make sure to arrive early or call for a reservation.
